FOUNDER HISTORY

The Founder of Chun Keung Construction Pte. Ltd., The Late Mr Lee Chun Man was born in 1928 at Kaiping City, Guangdong Province, China.

When Mr Lee was at his age of 15, his mother sent him to Leather Belt company to work at Guangzhou City. Afterwards, he followed his brother-in-law worked in Hong Kong as a construction trainee when he was 18 years old. From there Mr Lee learned the construction skills and perspicacious enough on how to construct a building.

With a great opportunity, he went to Sandakan, Sabah in Malaysia with his friends to start the construction business when he was at 23 years old. 6 years later, Mr Lee returned to China to get married as his friends continued doing business in Sandakan.

He started his own construction business in Hong Kong in 1959 and became a successful construction company in Sheung Shui & Yuen Long district till 1983.

Mr Lee Chun Man has 5 children, the 4th son Mr Lee Kin Wa (current Managing Director) became the successor of the business in later stage.

In 1983, Mr Lee Chun Man at his age of 55, and Mr Lee Kin Wa (age 19) came to Singapore to expand his construction business.

Mr Lee Chun Man passed away on 1st Mar 2015.
